2009 Honor Roll
We are grateful to all of our 2009 donors. This year’s Honor Roll recognizes those individuals who have made a gift for the last three consecutive years — the time since the creation of the new Office of Institutional Advancement. We are mindful of the fact that many donors have contributed to the Annual Fund for many more Campaigns than the last three. Like them, we hope you will also make the Annual Fund a charitable tradition.

Forward With Fisher: Alumni and Friends Unite in Record-Setting Annual Fund Campaign
For the first time in Fisher history, individual gifts exceeded the six-figure threshold, with alumni and friends contributing $108,667 in support of the Forward With Fisher Campaign. A record-setting number of donors – 243 – participated in the Campaign. Grants and other fundraising brought in an additional $49,672.
“We appreciate every gift, knowing full-well how difficult times are. Our alumni and friends stretched their giving this year, and every single gift counts. Your investment in Fisher means everything to our students,” said Richard A. Levitt, Vice President for Institutional Advancement. The Annual Fund Phone-a- thon, the first in seven years, recruited 13
students, four staff, and three graduates
– Kyle Grenier ’07, Rhonda Pieroni ’83,
and Anita Salmu ’88 – who contacted more than 700 alumni and raised $2,070. President McGovern and his wife, Elaine, also worked the phones. Alumni should be proud of their efforts in this record- breaking achievement.

Alumni Relations Boosted With Addition of New Director
The Institutional Advancement team added Kristen Sherman as the new Director of Alumni Relations & Advancement Programs in August 2009.
“I am thrilled to welcome Kristen to Fisher,” said Richard A. Levitt, Vice President for Institutional Advancement. “Kristen’s talents will be put to good use as she builds our alumni relations program. Every Fisher graduate should know that they have a dedicated liaison who is eager to help.”
Kristen will be working primarily in alumni relations, which will find her connecting with current students (our “alumni-in-training”) and Fisher graduates. Kristen’s charge is to strengthen the Alumni Association, expand Reunion, launch new alumni benefits programs, recruit alumni leaders to establish chapters and assist students, and altogether entwine alumni in the life of their alma mater. In addition, Kristen will also be instrumental in the Annual Fund, grants development, and Advancement communications.
“This is my first foray into higher education and I’ve quickly become enamored with Fisher and its history,” said Kristen. “I’m looking forward to help reconnect alumni with Fisher. We will work together, so I invite all alumni to
